About Me

WELCOME

Welcome to Lamontagne All Breed Handling. I am located on the Eastern plains of Colorado on 40 wonderful acres. This great open space gives me the safety and security to ensure the dogs in my care are kept happy and healthy.

I began showing dogs as Junior Handler in the early 90’s. My mother is an Irish Setter breeder and I quickly took to both the ring and to grooming. After high school I worked for multiple handlers while attending Colorado State University. I graduated in 2005 and I spread my wings to handle professionally on my own.

It has been a wonderful 15 years with great adventures and many successes. I have won the Irish Setter National Specialty, multiple Breeds at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and Royal Cannon Dog Show. I have shown dogs to Multiple Best In Shows,  had  dozens of Group Winning and Group Placing dogs.  Big or small, I can handle them all!

I hope you will allow me to share my passion for dog shows with you and help you to achieve your dog show goals.

I am a member of PHA and the

Irish Setter Club of America

I couldn't be where I am today without yesterday. Chris Hallock and I had been partners in Life and Dog Shows since early 2011. He was my best friend and greatest teacher. A kind soul who would have helped anyone in need. Chris was known for his expertise in Mini Schnauzers,

and we had met in this ring. Over the years he had campaigned multiple different terriers, working and sporting breeds. Together we built our business both so blessed to do what we love with someone we loved.

In December of 2018 Chris was diagnosed with a deadly blood cancer, he left us suddenly and all too soon.

I could not be here today without him in my life. I owe it to him to continue what we had worked so hard for, for so many years, I am today because of who we were yesterday.
